Salvation Army's Angel Tree Registration

ANGEL TREE REGISTRATION HAPPENING AT FIRST CHRISTIAN​

The Shelby County chapter of the Salvation Army has asked our church for use of our facilities for one night of registration for the upcoming Christmas Angel Tree program.
THAT DATE IS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. AT OUR CHURCH.
Outreach is asking for your help in assisting the Salvation Army with the registration process. Registration will take place in the sanctuary for families wishing to register their children for the Angel Tree program. Any Shelby County children aged 13 and under are eligible to register, but parents or legal guardians must bring official birth certificates. Hospital birth certificates will not be accepted. Proof of Shelby County address within the past 30 days at the time of application (preferably a piece of mail with the parent or guardian’s name on it) is also required. Expired identification will not be allowed. Legal guardian paperwork must also be provided with the names of all children being assisted is requested. It is recommended that parents bring a list of clothing/shoe sizes and toy requests for each child.
*There will be three other dates for families to register for the Angel Tree program beginning October 8,
10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Shelbyville Library Annex, 731 College Street. And again on October 22,
10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Library Annex. OCTOBER 16 AT OUR CHURCH, 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and the final registration date will be October 26, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., at the Stratton Community Center, 215 Washington Street.
